This is made from Kannauj rose — sourced from Kannauj, India, one of the oldest and most respected rose-attar regions in the world — and Merauke oud wood chips from Papua, Indonesia, distilled together rather than blended as two separate oils afterward. Co-distillation is the more traditional, more labor-intensive method, and it's what gives this oil its rounded, married character instead of rose sitting on top of oud.
